With the Renegades of Wrestling returning to the scene after a few months in hibernation, we are proud to present the full match listing for THE RETURN OF THE RENEGADES, which takes place at Max Watt’s House of Music, located in the middle of Melbourne on Swanston Street, on Friday March 17.

For the first time, the Renegades of Wrestling Championship will be defended, as Rat Daddy goes up against ‘The Official Ego’, Matt Hayter.
This is not the first time Hayter has had the chance to compete for the title; he previously lost in the first round of the ROW Championship Tournament, but was then subbed in for stablemate JXT due to injury, where he’d advance and eventually fall to Rat Daddy in the semi-finals, en route to the ‘King of Rodents’ becoming the first ever ROW Champion.
Now, these two compete one more time, but not only have ROW Management told Hayter this is his LAST chance at the gold, but it will be defended in a SWANSTON STREET FIGHT! There are no rules, and no disqualifications! Who will walk out with the championship? Find out on Friday March 17!
After fifteen years of grinding away, wrestling across the world, Shazza McKenzie became the first ever Renegades of Wrestling Women’s Champion, defeating Tarlee at ‘The Ecstasy of Gold’ last September.
Her first title defense will be against ‘The First Class Bitch’ Aysha, who appears fresh off several months of competing and training in the United States. Aysha has previously been making a name for herself within ROW as part of the Ambush, as well as securing singles wins of her own, but Shazza clearly has a chip on her shoulder and a reputation to uphold since claiming everyone else is mere “contenders” to her throne, will that be enough?
At our inaugural event in April last year, Robbie Eagles teamed up with Emman the Kid and faced the Velocities in a highly anticipated matchup. It was Emman who lost the match for his team, beginning a chain reaction where he started a losing streak until a shocking change in attitude took over.
Shedding his previous name and surrounding himself with like-minded competitors has marked a dramatic transformation for the man now known as Emman Azman. But it has rubbed many people the wrong way, including his former tag team partner.
Now, on Friday, March 17, Emman faces Robbie Eagles in a singles match, where either he will be forced to show respect, or he’ll be able to prove that this change in attitude was the right move all along.
It was Punch Drunk Istria who issued the challenge to ‘The Final Boss’ Jake Andrewartha on social media, claiming Jake has been ducking him for six years now, and accusing Jake of not living up to his moniker and reputation.
We’ve seen many men step up to fight the Final Boss over the years, but with the 15-year pro Istria having a stack of submission victories the world over, this is going to be no easy night for the leader of the Dominion of Violence!
Last July, DELTA and Chanel Phoenix went to a double count-out finish in their ROW Women’s Tournament match. This result particularly infuriated DELTA, who felt Phoenix deliberately affected the outcome in order to prevent a tick in the loss column.
Now, these two powerhouses will have their chance at a rematch, but the outcome is guaranteed to be different on March 17, as this match will be under falls count anywhere rules, where pinfalls can take place anywhere in the building, and anything goes!
Will DELTA be able to avenge the outcome from last July? Or will Chanel Phoenix and the Dominion of Violence prove to be too much to handle?
Three of Melbourne’s top contenders will do battle in a triple threat match on Friday March 17, with a chance to accelerate up the rankings at stake, as Hector Jones, Anth Cava and Caveman Ugg face off in a match where the winner becomes the number one contender to the ROW Championship!
Hector Jones will be representing the Dominion of Violence in this match, and will no doubt be looking to prove himself in the eyes of The Final Boss, as well as the ROW faithful. Anth Cava has been making a name for himself across Melbourne, and with The Cava Section growing in numbers, he will no doubt be ready to make an impact in his ROW debut. And Caveman Ugg has shown time and time again just how impressive he can be, most noticeably taking JONAH to his limit in our debut event last April.
Who will be able to secure the win, and get that all-important chance at the top prize at our following event in May?
Finally, the brash upstart Jarvis faces off with another ROW debutant, as he goes head to head with ‘The Spicy Salvadorian’ Santiago Silva!
Jarvis has been making waves as part of the Ambush, while Silva has been quickly turning heads since his debut. Both exhibit a flashy, high-flying style, which you can rest assured will have jaws dropping on Friday, March 17.
