The Renegades of Wrestling return to the Northcote Theatre on Sunday March 9th with ‘WE ARE RENEGADES’, and it can be confirmed that INDI HARTWELL will face off with ‘First Class’ AYSHA for the Renegades of Wrestling Women’s Championship.
Indi Hartwell is no stranger to championship gold, and is a former WWE NXT Women’s Champion, as well as a WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. Meanwhile, Ambush member Aysha has been the Renegades of Wrestling Women’s Champion for over 700 days, a record breaking feat that now places her as the longest running champion to consistently defend their title in Australian wrestling today, with her list of defeated opponents including WWE NXT wrestler Zaria, and Japanese Wrestling pop sensation Maki Itoh.
We will also see the Renegades of Wrestling World Championship defended, as LEVI NIXON faces MITCH WATERMAN with the gold on the line. Waterman defeated Emman Azman to raise the top prize in November, but he barely even laid hands on the championship, with Nixon cashing in the Ring of Destiny that he won in last years Renegades Rumble, entitling him to a championship match at any time of his choosing.
The fallout resulted a power struggle within The Ambush, the faction of Australia’s hottest rising wrestlers, which held both Levi Nixon & Emman Azman (as well as all the championships in Renegades of Wrestling) within its ranks. Nixon was booted from the Ambush, but Azman would soon follow through no fault of his own, having to return to Malaysia indefinitely, leaving the top faction in Renegades of Wrestling with a significant reduction in power and influence!
With the opportunistic Nixon already defending the Renegades World Championship all over the country for numerous promotions, can he defeat an angry and motivated Mitch Waterman to retain the championship?
In addition, MR JUICY returns to the ring to face TYSON REED in a grudge match that has been 8 months in the making, and the team of JXT & FUN TIME PHIL square up with the feared BASTARD BROTHERS in a tag team contendership match where there are NO DISQUALIFICATIONS, and anything goes!
Throw in the return of the Renegades Rumble, where the winner receives the Ring of Destiny, and a championship match in the division they most regularly compete in at any time of their choosing, and ‘WE ARE RENEGADES’ is rapidly shaping up to be a can’t miss event, featuring Australia’s best professional wrestlers in action!
